J PINNELLI COMPANY LLC
J Pinnelli Company LLC’s hallmark is its unparalleled depth and quality of management. Without exception, J Pinnelli Company managers never compromise on quality. They excel in the construction of every project, from the simplest to the most sophisticated, by utilizing their collaborative skills to create a beautiful, durable, healthy and efficient space at the best possible cost.
Mike, working with the J Pinnelli Company for 25 years, has been involved in all aspects of residential construction. Starting in the early 1980s he began focusing on interior millwork and trim as a master finish carpenter.
As a project manager, he says, “My passion has been building science, building energy efficient homes and retro-fitting existing homes to improve their performance.”
He has managed and completed work from faithful historical restorations to precise modern designs.
John, with the J Pinnelli Company for over 10 years, was born and raised in England, where he received his engineering degree from Loughborough University.
“The most satisfying thing about working for the J Pinnelli Company is never having to compromise on the quality of work I do. There is a respect for craftsmanship and the craftsman, rarely found in the modern building business.”
Gary and The J Pinnelli Company have been collaborating together since the late 1980s. His lifetime in construction started in New England and included owning an architectural millworks company for 20 years here in Austin.
"The J Pinnelli Company is directly responsible for one of my proudest days ever, the day my father congratulated me on becoming a third generation master builder.”
“Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a durable, healthy, intelligent building come to life at the hands of our committed family of professionals, artisans and subcontractors. Today’s homes are more sophisticated and complex than ever, and it takes a combination of old-world craftsmanship and state of the art building science to get it right.”
Yohan has worked with the J Pinnelli Company for 25 years. He is one of our most valued project managers, but wears many other hats. Yohan is essential to the company’s operation. He provides administrative oversight to company projects by coordinating company business assets needed to support operations.
“My great grand father and grandfather were home builders by trade. They and my father were all violin makers by hobby. My depression era parents ingrained two important values in me. If I wanted something, it was always best to build it myself and I should always avoid waste. After attending the University of Texas I jumped into homebuilding, and, by 1985, I was managing large construction projects.
“In 1996, I began working for the J Pinnelli Co., drawn to Joe’s constant insistence on perfection and the search for its next level. As a company, we have embraced building science and continuing education, which is especially important in my niche of building modern contemporary homes. These projects create special challenges, and it’s the collaborative work of meeting these challenges that keeps me excited after all these years.
“I am asked if the end result makes me proud, and, I suppose on some level it does, but in my own soul searching, I have discovered something else. What makes me most proud professionally, is the relationships that I build with our clients and the evidence of a positive impact that I have had on their lives. That evidence is revealed in how they greet me after the project is done.”
